Remember when Apple told you to ‘Think different’ ?

Narrated by actor Richard Dreyfuss, the “Think Different” ad campaign starts out with a memorable salute to counterculture ideals:

Black-and-white images of more than a dozen 20th-century visionaries, from Albert Einstein and Buckminster Fuller to John Lennon and Martin Luther King Jr., flow past as masterful marketing copy praises the power of bold ideas.

Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.
— Steve Jobs, 1997

The commercial on network television ends on the picture of a young girl, Shaan Sahota, opening her closed eyes, as if to see the possibilities before her.

TWO VERSIONS

Steve Job decided at the last moment to air the version with Richard Dreyfuss narration instead of his, as he taught the commercial shouldn’t be about him but about Apple.

More than the value of Steve Job’s inventions, it was his unwavering determination that inspired so many millions throughout the world to pursue their own dream.

DARE TO BE YOU

Rebels are people who think different, feel and behave different. They can’t easily fit into the corporative square box

Organizations both value and despise them as they challenge thoughts, processes, and the status quo. They disrupt, dismiss, push raising the bar for everyone else and they call people out. They’re not being difficult on purpose — they’re being themselves.

And that comes with both opportunities and challenges.

ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET

Feeling the calling inside of you to experience a life beyond what is comfortable?

Taking a leap of faith and throwing yourself into the unknown can be daunting but, at the same time, very rewarding. It means that you fully surrender to all expectations that you and others have ever had of yourself. It means that you allow yourself to start anew and feel completely free.

“if you have the entrepreneurial spirit living inside of you then it is something you absolutely must do in order to be true to yourself” ~ Connie Ragen Green

Entrepreneurial spirit is a mindset. It’s an attitude and approach to thinking that actively seeks out change, rather than waiting to adapt to change. It’s a mindset that embraces critical questioning, innovation, service and continuous improvement

Reinventing ourselves, discovering our creative side and exploring new paradigms for creating multiple streams of income and enjoying success is the best blueprint we can ever give ourself to make our dreams come true!

The entrepreneurial mindset consists of three key elements: curiosity, connections and creating value : the 3C’s.

Entrepreneurs are extremely focused on their goals and do not stray from what they have set out to do. While they spend a lot of time on their business, they use their time wisely, planning out their day and making sure no time is wasted.

To have an entrepreneurial spirit, you need people who think anything is possible and have the tenacity to accomplish it, says Marc de Grandpre, senior vice president of marketing for KIND Healthy Snacks.

“Regardless if you are a senior executive or a junior team member, everyone has a voice that needs to be nurtured, not criticized, in order to continue bringing innovative ideas forward.”
